My Christmas Day Routine

Hello friends!! Welcome to day 11 of my 12 Days of Blogmas! Happy Christmas even everyone… just one more sleep until christmas! If I’m being completely honest, I am really not feeling it this year. However, I know what that’s rather common at the moment. Anyway, I love hearing other’s traditions, so I thought I would share my Christmas Day routine with you!

7:00- wake up

My sisters and I usually wake up between 6:30-7:30. Our stockings hang on our steps, so for as long as I can remember, every Christmas morning we sit on the steps and open our stockings while waiting for our parents to come down.

8:00- open presents

My parents usually get up around 8 and come down. This is whe we all sit on the floor and take turns opening up gifts.

10:30- brunch

We finish opening presents around 10 and then we all help my mom make breakfast. We always have french toast, fruit and eggs!

12:30- relax

The time after we clean up breakfast, fluctuates every year. It used to be the time that we would test out our toys, but that’s inapplicable now. Recently, we usually take our dog for a walk, watch a movie or two, and break off on our own for a while.

6:00- dinner

When my grandparents came over we used to have a huge dinner with all the goods, but now we just eat some goodies that we have regularly, and I’m not complaining!!

8:30- call family

Right after dinner, we all sit in the living room and call my grandparents and uncle. That can take up to an hour and a half, so by then we are all pretty much tapped out and head to bed!
